For my personal project I would like to created graphic art and create five hands involved with different concepts or ideas (i.e. hand drawn with space) and will made on Illustrator and with Photoshop after to put some different effects. I wanted to do something like this because I think this is creative and you can do a variety of things. Not only will it be great artistically for me, but I think it'll help me learn and understand Illustrator better as I just learned how to use it this year. This is something I could easily do on paper and I want to challenge myself and do it graphically where I can't physically touch the piece with my hands and a pencil. In order to succeed in my project, I will plan to keep a schedule on working on each hand an equal number of weeks until the project is due and also be very organized in my work and keep good time management. The limited time, the unavailability of the software at home, and other school work may be obstacles for this project that I hope I will overcome.

Completed Project:
"Conducting the String"
"Nature's Hand"
"Protector of Space"
"Rock On"
"Metallic Works"
Here are the five completed works of art done graphically on Illustrator. The first one, "Conducting the String," is music-based and the most difficult part on that one was the notes and having them appear to hang off another with the Pathfinder tools. The second one is called "Nature's Hand" which is circled around a tree and the most difficult part with that one was getting the outline of the tree and the lines to detail it. The third is "Protecter of Space" and it of course is centered around space and the most difficult part about that one was finding the right gradient and opacity for the hand and the sun together. The fourth one is "Rock On" which is stone-based and that difficult part was creating the different stones and connecting them together like puzzle pieces. And the final one "Metallic Works" is metal/steampunk inspired and the hardest part for that one was getting the gears to look three-dimenosal.
